THats way too cheap, I agree he must have missed a zero. They are very nice cars as long as rust hasnt got to them and no electrical gremlins. I had a 71decades ago and it had Anti Skid Brakes (ABS). The 1st car to be equipped with them. The roof line looks like its a chopped job from the factory.

Cool car. I worry about lines like "Need's timing adjusted" which is the same as ads that say "Need's a tune up". Likely needs a cam-or worse.

Didn't Manix drive a Continental Mark III in his detective show?

The Mark III was the first to use the 460 engine that was based on the 429 that was introduced in Thunderbirds for 1968. The Continentals used the 462 which was based on the Lincoln 430 that dated back to 1958 I think.

Those cars also came standard with Michelin X radials years before radials replaced bias-ply tires industry-wide around 1973/4/5.

They were unibody cars based on the Thunderbird platform, actually the 4-door Thunderbird. The replacement Mark IV used a full frame, as did the Thunderbird for 1972.

Mannix drove a Dart GT. Cannon drove a Lincoln, with a phone in it. So he could order pizza!

Ever lift the grille on one of those Lincolns? I bet they are about 75lbs!
