FENDERS
1968/69 Chevelle fenders
*1968/69 Chevelle/El Camino fenders are identical in size, but the
only difference is the cutouts for the side markers. (Refer to the
FAQ concerning 1968/69 body parts.)

Mounting tabs for the beaumont headlight doors have to be moved over to the chevelle fenders...

Does anyone have a pic of a 1968 beaumont fender that I can use as a guide for the mods I have to make on my chevelle fenders

Here are some pics I saved from other members post's that had the same problem. I have to do the same modification but I saved the parts of my old fenders.

Here are the parts you need to take from your original fenders. They are spot welded in so you need to drill them out.

Here is yours now. You have to drill out the spot welds holding the chevelle grill bracket.

The bottom three pics show the fender with the chevelle part removed and the Beaumont L shaped bracket fitted in place. note you have to bend the tab the finger is pointing to over the L shaped bracket and line the holes up top and bottom then just spot weld them back in.

Hope this helps. Many Beaumont owner have tossed there fenders out before taken of that bracket. Your not alone.

Glad I could help. The bracket has two screw hole locations on it to attach the corner grill parts and there is a third screw hole on the top of it . This one is for the top outer screw location on the head light bezel. Let me know if you need more pics.
