OK I just want to apologizes for messing up the FOR SALE thread, so thought I would start my own.
Car is a 1967 Acadian SD. Full Super Stock style chassis by Fj Smith. 498" Ex Mike Papadamou NHRA Pro Stock engine, Liberty Extreme 4 speed with Dana 60 rear.
Car has a NMCA Nostalgia Pro Street car when I bought it, so mostly STEEL, but hood and bumpers. OEM glass in door and front. Even had drum brakes on the Dana. With a `mild`572 motor that made 1000Hp NA the car went 8.0 with a 250 hit. On the 6 or so pass on the new chassis, and 3rd I believe on the nitrous, it split the block down the center, so never really go a chance to get a GOOD number out of it.
I have since got a sheetmetal 9.5`rear with Carbon disc brakes, electric shock, Ti wheel studs and ceramic bearing for the car. Car WAS 3210 with me in it before the lightweight stuff. So not sure now what it would weight. But I will tell you one thing, its not a good sign when this is YOUR FIRST BURNOUT IN A NEW CAR AT 7800 RPM:
And YES that was NA. It tore the rotor tip off the Jesel front drive distributor!!!
