I remember my sisters grade 4 teacher drove a blue 70 Impala with the matching wheel covers. I never saw another 70 with those wheel covers. I assume they came in all available colours?

Top picture taken in Windsor with Detroit and Cobo in the background across the river. The matching hubcaps look good. Autorama at Cobo (looking much different than the picture) 3/6 thru 3/8

My Dad was a salesman and he got a new company car every couple of year's. He had a '70 Impala as above in blue. The car before was a '68 Impala fastback and after the '70 he got a '73 Dodge Royal Monaco. He hated the Dodge and traded with a junior salesman for a '73 Cutlass Supreme. Up until the early '80's he always had a 2dr. His last 2dr was a '79 Cutlass Supreme. His car of choice was always a GM.

I owned a '70 Impala.....same color combo as the Caprice pictured. I beat the crap out of that car, drove to the Spring Break in Fort Lauderdale, FL. and SOLD it for a profit. I had all these funny - not politically correct bumper stickers on it.....One Said, "Save the Whales, Harpoon a Fat Chick" You sure could not drive around today with that on your bumper.
