Not an SS. Has Impala dash, SS has aluminum trim not wood grain. Impala grill, SS has vertical bars blacked out and Impala SS emblem. No Super Sport on front fenders. Still a worthy project but not an SS. Easily verified by VIN. V8 SS. HT is 16637, Impala 16437.

I might grab a frame rusted car to fix and practice on some time. I can trick one of my buddies into helping me with the welding, although welding upside down is really the pits.
I have the welder, gas and all the stuff, but I'm really bad still at getting the settings right. That "bacon frying" sound forever eludes me, thus my buddies have huge value !
