65 convertible dash coming together slowly!

well, utilising my time off well! eclectrics and dash coming along nicely! want to get the motor going so I can at least move it around. the injection wiring is the biggest headache! running out of room behind the dash! nearly finished the wiring.Waiting for some parts fron dale at NOS to put the steering wheel together! scored a floor shift column from a mate, very, very rare in australia, swapped for a starter motor! also got a dash indicator blanking plate cheap at a swap meet. next the brakes....

really pleased with the look of the gauges i bought for water and oil too!

if someone could turn them the right way round, that would be fantastic....just can't get the swing of which way to hold these apple things....

Nice job Phillip! Looking good. I feel ya on the wiring part, think I lost 10 years of hair scratching my head! Where did you score the electronic eye?

thanks! has been a bit like that! the heater fan is what did my head in..the controller and resistor wiring...I bought the autronic eye off ebay US, NOS! cost me $650 or $750 (ouchee ouchee!) only repro part was the dimmer switch. complete unit. expensive I know but for me it was a must have item, I'm a bit obsessed with them. This unit is for a buick or olds, can't remember...hence the different looking dash switch, not real obvious to the casual observer though, the eye, wiring and controls are still the same used on GM vehicles from the early 60s ...even came with the instruction tag to hang off the switch! I'm a sucker for accessories....i have an underdash record player too in the shed! not GM of course....

more old english than aussie...you were running a thread about headlight relays..I have gone berko with relays as well. I installed  new accessories fuse panel fed by a relay with an emergency cutout switch on the dash to mainly kill the injection if things go pearshaped..up/down relays for the top pump, neutral safety start relay, reversing light relay...must be the sparky in me....
