Pretty decent, but I'm a little surprised to see the rear bumper caps missing if it's never seen snow...

I see a few upgrades, notably the somewhat hack looking electric fan up front, and the dual master cylinder.

I know this car very well and i have gone over it many many times. I can vouch for the fact that it is real solid and all there. The rear caps are American and the engine bay needs some attention but this car is well under valued. An original 283 V-8 and a real solid body in my book amounts to a super good value here. I hope she goes to a good home and not a house of horrors. It would be a real crime to cut this fine 57 up. Good luck to the owner in selling it to someone worthy. Cheers. George.

Beautiful car but sad to say, because it's a 4 door it will be struggle to sell. I'm sorry George, it's reality. Would a 2 door in that shape bring $25K? Certainly that would be max I am guessing, so you know what that means for 4 door value.

I am betting the market for 50's cars is never going to be what it was 10-15 years ago. I was wrong once before though...

This was for sale by another seller minus motor and gearbox but full restore for around 15k. is an american model. This seller purchased and fitted chev motor and box. Now $36.5k. Bit over the top price and been for sale a while. Don't reckon it'll sell at this price...

Carl, no need to be sorry. Today old car values in the real world suck right across the board. You can not build ANY car today and expect to make money. You have to do it out of love and passion for old  cars. I tell people if they expect to make money on old cars, they would be better off just investing more in real estate or gold or silver............ anything almost, other than old cars. If the passion is not there for old cars then............ forget it. I look at this 57 Pontiac as good value because it is real solid, so you are not spending a fortune fixing a rusty mess, it has an original 283 V-8 Power Glide. It is all there so you are not spending money looking for parts and it is a turn key ready to show for the average car nut. I personally would restore the engine compartment and put wide white wall tires on it but that is just me. Cheers. George.

GORGEOUS car       "appraised value" is for insurance replacement

Nothing to do with market value.....

its probably "worth" 15 grand     but market will be 7-8 grand

Did you ever see then price that Mark "stole" the beautiful 4 door hardtop 67 for ??

The Russian Embassy car .....

really too bad the appraisal misleads his thoughts on pricing....
