Beautiful car! The seat upholstery job doesn't suit it ... but that could be fixed. Love it.

Been for sale for well over a year. I agree-the interior could be hindering the sale. Easier to fix than a body job though!

This car is further proof that the old car market is DEAD. I have seen this car up close and i know this is a really good car, with little to correct. This car can not get $15,000, so what does that say for the rest of us. Building a car today really makes no sense at all, unless you got money coming out of your ears. Today you have to build a car to keep or prepare your self to lose a ton of dough. George.

         I agree George!

I have re-built several cars, over the years, and I have bought finished cars, and buying finished is best....

but   I didn't always have the whole $$$  amount, so I bought a cheaper car, and fixed it up, payday to payday,

and I often had 12 grand in a 8 grand car, but it was less painfull ....I guess....

btw    ever think about all the sellers and hobbyists, who price a car at e.g. $15,000 "because they have that in it" and by God they must get it out

and yet the same fellow(s) will go to the car dealer and trade their perfect 2010 truck for a 2015 truck, pay (example)  12-15 grand difference and smile all the way home wink

My problem with buying that car would be I'd strip the engine and trans out of it the day it came home, put in either a 327 or a 348 to make it look authentic and then I'd be into it for over 20K which it would NEVER bring.

Sure is pretty though, I love the car.

I love the red   and love the 61's    wonder what the frame is like   Most Eastern cars are soft or repaired

I agree and I'd have to paint it midnight blue which was the colour of the one in the photo below, although our's had the mighty 261.

And yes, before someone says there's no 327 in 61, I realize that! I just happen to love 327's. Maybe I'd dress it as a 283, I dunno.

Yes it's been for sale for quite awhile. I'm always looking thru the ads and see a lot of the same cars still for sale after a year, sometimes 2 yrs. Nothing wrong with the cars, just a flat market here in Canada.

if your car was for sale for 2 years, I wonder if they ever think of reducing the price?

Either they are waiting for a "I just have to have it" buyer, or an upswing in the classic car market (which isn't going to happen ... ever).
