There was one in similar condition for sale at our swap meet a few years back, similar price except without the "1" at the front. I don't think it sold there but did eventually sell later on I think.

That looks pretty complete     I would think that 4500.00 would be closer with a total resto needed

I have 2 friends with 66 L79's   1 HT Nova  1 Post Acadian here in Clinton    both fellows spent over 15 g at body shop alone   but probably worth 30 when done  ....

I wonder if on the Canadian SS's they offered D99 two tone moulding on the single colour cars? We see it lots on the Beaumonts etc. Now I'm curious. Wish he had the documents.

I had a red Canadian 66 SS back in the 80's with that, but it was a two tone car, white top.

I have solid Regal Red 66 Nova with the D99 Molding. Canadian car. Being done as an L79 clone.

Lookin for some clips for the D99 trim as mine broke while being removed at the body shop....ouch

Personally I wouldn't pay more than $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 for a car in this shape as your looking at $50,000.00+ to do a frame off rebuild things are not cheap any more and labour is high. If you don't plan on keeping it for years to come it just isn't worth it when you can get one in better shape and add from there your better off than one in this shape. Just my opinion

Have you checked with NOS Reproductions? I had a set of mouldings that I was going to re-install on my former 67 SS and it seems to me when I asked NOS, they said they could get them. Not positive though, might be worth checking.
