Similar to what Hawkeye is doing with his 5.3 project other than the blower taking up more space. (If that helps at all)

For a sec there I thought we were cloned!biggrin Hmmmm 6.2? Afraid that I'm going to beat you? If thats a 4l80 you will have to do a lot of trans tunnel mods. Can be done but a s@#$ load of work. Put my motor in place in Nov and still working on it. If going this route make sure you get the ECM with motor and trans. I think the 4l80 has it's own computer that has to talk to the ECM so don't think you can swap to a 4l60. Can be done but like I've said it's a ton of work and everything has to be changed. Prob about the same as a crate motor if you were going new everything anyway. Think that if not running that trans would have to buy a ECM for non 4l80 motor but not 100%. But IT SURE WOULD LOOK GOOD IN THERE!!

for it,then go from there. Will also check about the tranny. Thanks guys. You are
wright Jim it would look sweet in there.

Here's a link to a guy that put that set up in a '66 Chevelle. Not the same I know but food for thought. Lots of good reading.

I would think the first mod would be an aftermarket front sub frame just for clearances.
