Help please: Sunfire is possessed electrically

I just picked up a 2002 Sunfire for a beater car and when I close the driver's door the starter clicks in aand turns the motor over 1/8 turn.  Is this a ground issue?  Any one have an idea where to start looking??

I've heard the ol lady start automatically when I shut the drivers door, but never heard solenoid do that. You're right, I think she is possessed

Is this one of those cars that was involved in the big recall regarding corrosion on the computer (PCM)? If so, I would bet almost anything could happen.

Maybe 67Poncho will see this, I think he has quite a bit of experience with stuff like this.
