74' Pontiac GTO, this is the last year of the GTO, it has original rims and shaker hood. 3 speed Manual transmission, 350 American Motor from factory. This car is in very good shape and a solid foundation. Could use minor refinishing on some chips and scratches but no major rust or dent issues. Backseat needs re-upholstered, headliner needs to be replaced, and a heater control switch kit. Runs and drives, comes with 5 new tires, just needs a new owner and someone to complete the finishing touches. Asking 16,500$ but am negotiable. Car is located in Fredericton I can be contacted by email, or you can call or text 780 819 7386.

Looks exactly like the brochure car from 1974. ( below) I am sure very few original examples like this exist today right down to the factory splitters and standard 3 speed transmission. I find it hard not to like a car in this basically untouched condition. How do you value such a car. Despite all the detractors it is not the GTO that had the least sales/production, that title belongs to the '73. The 74 nearly doubled the sales of 73's.

I didn't know that Ray. I thought the 74's were the lowest sales. There certainly wasn't many around. Although I was never fond of the look of them when new, or even over the last 40 years they dont look so bad now. Not $16.5k good, but they've grown better with age to my eye. I'm liking more Malaise Era stuff now.
Interesting how the GTO was front and centre on the brochure in 74. Think it was a blurb at the back of the 73 brochure?
That's a great point. The 1973 LeMans sales brochure devoted about a quarter of a page to the GTO option two or three pages from the end of the booklet. The Grand Am on the other hand had several pages devoted to it.
