Interesting that it is an American Bonneville that appears to have lived its life in BC. I'm guessing that there were no Canadian coachbuilders who would convert a Chevy-based CP for ambulance use.
Were all Canadian ambulances sourced from the US back then?

I guess it's also possible that the Surrey ambulance was bought second-hand from the US back in the day. It did have a colour change from white to red somewhere along the line.
