Interesting, these don't pop up that often. Looks like a nice one. Wonder if it's a 350 or 400... no detail or pic provided.

I wondered the same when i saw it yesterday . Not many pontiac 400s made in the Cup Edition . I have seen six so far . The opera window does not work for me but i would love to see a large window if one was ever made .

No Long windows made I would say. The option was available on the Sport Coupe and by 1975 the only quarter window treatment in a Sport Coupe was Louvers or formal opera.

As an observation this Thread has now been up on board for over two days. the fact that the only people responding have either owned or own a LeMans of this vintage speaks volumes about the popularity and desirability of these cars, This one appears to be absolutely mint condition and basically no interest outside of a few owners of this type and year of car. Too bad because it appears to be a really very nice 40 year old car and as far as a Canadian Poncho goes, pretty much defines the type.

I wonder what his asking price is. I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.

Valid points Ray.

I am one of those who was guilty of totally shunning these cars until recent years. I have since learned they are superior to the earlier cars in a number of areas. It does seem as though they will never make the big leagues though doesn't it?

I think you are right Carl, outside of a few special performance models, 73 GTO, 77 Can Am, 73 Buick Century GS, 73 Hurst Olds very little interest in these types. Even the super rare Canada Cup seems to fall short, Likely due to being a Canadian only model,

Looks very similar to the Olympic model that came out in '76.

Really ? Except Olympic Edition had rectangular quad headlights, no NASA type hood, a landau roof and its White.

I sit corrected. To me they were both red and white. It's been a while since I've seen either one.
