Thats quite a chart Todd, and it cold, dry, and windy. I heard part of the 4 lane hfx-Truro was closed due to snow conditions, could be tons of white-outs around.

Lots of snow down in Dartmouth. Measured 14 inches today. Supposed to get another blast tomorrow. My parents are in Pictou County and they were up to 20 inches this afternoon and still snow falling. Calling for another foot or more for them through Monday.
Guess Ill have to clear the cobwebs from the snowmobiles tomorrow.
only a few degrees above today but the sun was warm. with the snow gone i went back to work on the old Toro ride on. Had to put new battery cables on it. got it fired up and cut the grass on the south side of the house. Cant remember ever cutting grass in Febuary
Just took the dog out for a pee and you'd never know I shovelled and plowed. Winds are picking up and will continue to blow 70-80kmh overnight and into mid tomorrow.
We're getting hit pretty well in the Halifax area. Lots of snow down on the ground today with much drifting. The driveway was a mix of bare spots and over 2ft deep in some places. There was some freezing rain as well, leaving a crust on top of the snow (and a layer of ice on the cars). Cleared as much as I could till the wind picked up and I started to freeze vital parts, so I went inside to watch the All Star Games.
Snowing again and the wind is whistling, so tomorrow I'll probably have to go back and re-shovel what I did today. Funny thing is, just a week ago I was wondering if we would have any snow this winter as the ground was bare...
I'd say this storm is the worst since "Snowmeggedon" in 2015. For the first time my truck got stuck plowing. Nothing was going to get it out this time I as I was on a bit of a downward slope and needed to get backed out.
After 30 minutes of trying I finally relented and pulled our 10000lb winch out of storage (in the shed with waist deep drifts in front of it), and mounted it to the rear reciever. Since it's meant to mount on the front the power cables aren't long enough to reach the battery. So, I had a spare 12v battey that I stuck on the tailgate and used booster cables to attach it to the winch leads. I wrapped the winch cable around a tree about 75 feet "upstream" and managed to pull the truck free. "If they can't find ya handsome..."
My summer project will be running heavy gauge power leads to the rear of the truck.
Lockers in the diffs would have been nice!
I finished up the area I got stuck in with the snowblower.
Our road is pretty much impassible right now and the snow and winds aren't letting up at all so we'll get to do it all again tomorrow.
Wow! hope you have lots of grub! That'll be a while! Last night in northern Alberta we got a skimpy 2 inches. I have yet to plow anything this year. Kinda scary for the fire season.
All is well. Snow is cleared at home and most of the roads on the island are cleared (some only one lane). I will say this was the most difficult storm for clearing up since I moved here. Yesterday the temps hit 4c and the snow was like concrete.
My area got about 50 cm of snow over about 3 and a half days. It was driven by fairly strong winds so there was a lot of drifting.
I thought I'd keep on top of it by doing a little each day, but it always filled in again. Shoveled Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, and it's mostly done, but still have one car mostly buried. I think I'll take a day off tomorrow and perhaps tackle the rest on Thursday. Already have 2 cars dug out and I don't drive the third one much... 4th car is in storage so I don't have to worry about that one!
My back has certainly seen better days, but I will say it's good exercise. However as Todd said yesterday and today with above freezing temps, the snow has become quite heavy.
Cape Breton got three times what I did in some areas... that's tough, and I wish them well.
Had to tow a ford out of a bit of snow yesterday, forgot to get pics.
