J.F.K. Limo

Newest addition to the family. I know its not a GM but I'm sure most can appreciate it. 1961 Lincoln Continental 4dr retractable. Not counting options, A total of 2587 Retractables made that year. First year for this body style. These cars are actually unibody and weigh in at a meager 5200 pounds. haha This one was actually factory presidential black with red interior. It has a 430 V8. Weird options like hydraulic windshield wipers run off the power steering and vacuum operated power door locks. It literally drove in to my yard and I bought it. It had been sitting for years. First ten days I owned it I put 1000 K on it. Seems to work well with only minor things to address this winter. I put a couple before pics in before I installed the Wide whites and adjusted the altitude. And if Carl could blow these up for me too I would greatly appreciate it and I promise to learn how to do that in the future.

No problem.

I learned something tonight, would never have guessed that's a unibody.

Cool car! I remember wanting to buy a 61 Hardtop when I was 17 but couldn't come up with the money. You don't see many of these in any body style at shows.

Love it ... classy. It is no wonder that these cars were used by the government. Love the picture with the doors/trunk open.
