66 Canso rocker extensions

Taking some parts to chrome shop tues (not console) noticed my rocker trim extensions have a middle mounting hole but they don't look stock? Anyone know if they had 2 or 3 holes, may need to get them filled. Same hole, same spot, both sides?

So you are thinking the hole on the right hand side is not stock?

I had a set of these but don't think I took pictures before I sold them. However, there are two designs of that moulding in 66 and if I had to guess I'd say the holes are stock that you have. Do both mouldings have that hole? Have you measured, are they in the identical spot? If so, I bet they are proper.

Yes, thinking the right hole is not stock, will measure to see if exact the same on both sides. Just had me wondering since the other 2 are recessed and higher?confuse

Thanks Chris, do you have a pic of where they are mounted. Mine are about 3" shorter that rear 1/4 so I don't know if they mount more towards the back of the car or more towards the wheel well opening. Thanks Jim

Hi Jim, I don't have anyway of posting a picture(s) so I hope this description helps. My moldings have the 3 factory holes where yours are and are attached with flush mount screws, all factory but they have no holes drilled on the 3 round tabs on the lower areas. They fit just under the lower beltline and begin about 1/4" behind the wheel well moldings. I hope this is of help to you.
