Not much room for the install, will see when it arrives in a few days, may have to remove the fender? which means the hood and front bumper must come off.

Thanks guys will check them out , Hertz speakers now installed , amp is next.

Power antenna has arrived and does thankfully fit down the hole into the fender, now to mount it? but it is going to work biggrin

Thanks for the info on the wheel mouldings order from gold leaf on the way, just realized i guess tires must come off for install, damn back ones are tough to remove sometimes.

Dash still needs paint on drivers side, button in the ash tray to lower or raise the power antenna, still needs some work, in progress ,then will do the final wire harness, head unit has a remote ,nice.

Thanks again for the tip on the wheel well mouldings ,arrived from Gold Leaf today and look pretty nice, any install tips appreciated as I have never put a set of these on before, stereo fully installed now and power antenna is in and looks and works perfecto, stereo sounds awesome, carpet kit looks great, inside is almost all new now and looks great, just some dash work and LED lights on the way for the dome and tail lights and glove box etc.had to order a new seat belt roller to fix one broken, got a new console slider and shifter lense, head unit looks fantastic and has tons of cool features and colors, will purchase kick panels with built in 160 W speakers for the front, then a Kicker sub ,system is all wired for it with the 4 channel amp in the trunk, will get a chrome rear dif cover and a silver powder coated rear sway bar, Chevelle depot has some amazing stuff. Then will start to rewire the whole car as I am a tech and can do that myself.

Got these Kick panels coming also with Hertz speakers already installed, blew my mind when the guy said they had these, exactly what I wanted ,cool.and yes they fit perfect , might carbon fibre them as it would be easy and protect them, can peel it off and they are perfect under, would be fairly easy, but the good stuff I am using is pricey.

Installed the kick panels with speakers, was not super easy but a bit of trimming and some heating with the heat gun, made a shim between the speaker and mount so the speaker would clear and they are in, sound great, now installing the new front bumper.

Ok Bumper and new wheel well molding installed, thinking about this tank as it is powder coated, or stainless , suggestions welcomed here, not sure is this is the right sending unit again help is nice thanks.Must shine these rear rocker extensions, any suggestions on things i might need for the tank replacement appreciated.Car now has all LED's except the dash, new front markers also LED.Still button in ash tray for power antenna works but damn switch is momentary so I ordered a new killer one, then will do the final wire harness ,soldered and shrink tubed all up under the dash with a new fused power distribution box from fuse box under dash. Then if you are listening to the CD player you can lower the power antenna.Iluminated green switch in ash tray, now will put on a powder coated rear diff cover and sway bar once back from powder coating and change those ugly exhaust tips, change out the tank and scale and paint under.Went to check out at Summit and they had raised the price of everything in the cart so I scrapped that order, nice business practices.

So now rear bumper is assembled, tank is painted black, underside of car is black, now just waiting on the rear dif and sway bar from Rocket Coating as they will be powder coated and then put it all together yahoo!, wiring is complete and front passenger seat installed, now when you turn the unit on the power antenna does not come up, illuminated button in the ashtray controls up or down, new exhaust tips on the way as the old ones are just hideous, new rear bumper from Golden Leaf is killer, premium from Dynacorn and I must say it is quite nice.

Went to move the car and it wouldn't move? Whats up? Seems the back passenger brake was locked, after much grief I managed to remove the drum, retainer spring holding down one shoe had come off? So now looks like I need to do them all, got cylinders , spring kit, and new shoes , already just did the master, then bleed and should be all good, should soon change to a double res master so if you lose one set you have the others to stop, can't seem to find that kit right now.

Had this conversion done:

www.joesclassiccarradio.com/services.html

...preserving the Delco faceplate, and Beaumont script. Sounds great, streaming via Bluetooth, and I've put a microphone in to take and make calls, too.

I have the Custom Autosound head unit available for sale, should anyone want it.

You need the amps, and speakers, of course, but the cosmetics are just so much sweeter with the dash looking like it just rolled off the line in Oshawa.

Looks like that's it for this year, was hoping to be done and get over to Victoria but I guess that's not happening , almost done just need shocks all around and the new exhaust tips welded in place, then to the trans shop for torque converter and shift kit. Will get billet hinges at some point but the damn things are $700 US, still need hood painted under and a dent where the first builder an idiot who was drunk and put the long bolt in the wrong spot and drove it in till it dented the hood. New stereo sounds fantastic and is very loud which is good for Joe Satriani and Andy James type of tunes.Removed that old inspection sticker but got a good shot of it, I also notice one bolt still to install on that back bumper under that license bracket and rusty washer must go, will do.
