I remember reading this one from back then . Great reading. I am puzzled about the Canadian Tempest four barrel intake.

 I think it was on the ''Sprint'' option.......with a 4bbl from a 396...

I had a sprint 67 firebird 3.8 overhead cam six But thought it was an American and not Canadian . Do they mean  the overhead cam six intake will fit the chevy six?

I have no experience with this engine but the author say that an intake #9787541 from a Canadian Tempest will fit if you match the ports.

Any members out there with photos of their souped up sixes and how many V-8's have you blown the doors off.

No I've never beat one in a block or a quarter mile but I've passed a few a couple hundred miles down the road when they were fueling up. I'd love to have a high horse car but couldn't afford it or the trouble I would get in to.

I thought i would bump this old post of a very interesting topic. Any souped up six stories out there, especially the ones that shut down a V-8. biggrin
