In and around Edmonton area...the low i saw was $1.10 in Fort Saskatchewan at two places. Average is $1.12 to $1.16. Highs are in the middle $1.20's.
I am annoyed that the price fixing game has gone to the next level. When we moved to Edmonton 7 years ago pricing was stable with changes being somewhat rare and infrequent. For us that was a welcome change from the daily price changes in Surrey BC and area where we moved from.
That messing with pricing has come here now, with a twist. There seems to be a set pattern of "high price" stations early in the day and "low price" stations. The spread is about 12-15 cents. The prices will change at least twice per day has been my observation. It's more convoluted, and I think designed purely to thwart efforts to prove collusion between the various brands. The goal however is crystal clear as the "low" price steadily creeps up a penny or so ever couple of days. Two months ago we were well under a buck a litre. Now the "low" norm is closer to $1.14.
I'm becoming a cynic, but I feel I'm being provoked into it. lol
