I've been put in touch with a fellow who has a set of 4 center caps for sale correct for Pontiac. They are very good used condition. I do want to buy a set of these but the asking price of $400 CDN seems pretty high. I don't know how rare and valuable they are, and as I mention, I will be looking for these caps at some point. Are they worth the $400? He says his price is firm.

I guess it depends on what you want or need. Show car, driver ?

I wouldn't pay $400 for those.

Here's why. The basic base is the same as all Chevrolet Rallye wheel centres. In the case of the Chevy that 'sombrero' cap screws on just the same as the Canadian Pontiac centre. You can but Chevy Rallye caps anywhere for next to nothing,I'll bet you can find repops for $50 for 4. Then all you need to do is find the Canadian Pontiac centre, these were used on wire wheels aloso and on Beaumonts too. I have 4 junkers right here beside my desk. Somebody on here will have them.

$400 is high for those.  I sold a set of the 1967 unique "disc brake" center caps last September for $225 US on ebay.

I believe Dale's did the repro ornament if I'm right? Give him a try, he used to have them on his website

Should be lots of guys who have the repro larger part for those small centre caps.

'Our Vintage Impressions eBay shop' has repo rally caps with plan no writing centres
Look at hubcaps, '67 Chevy chrome caps' if it's just the centres

I have the ones from vintage impressions and they are not to bad . Sure the centres are not exact but paint them black and they look the part. They are metal and not plastic . Shipping is also fast and cheep. Got the tip from Carl S a few year ago.

And spent a long time trying to find them without 'disc brakes'
I'm not that great on the computer, so could not put a link or photo on

I'd pay $400 for an NOS quality set of four. Everyone selling sets for $100 please drop me a note at davepl@davepl.com as I'd love to restore a set! You wind up paying minimum piece price for chrome, but I have reproductions that look close but aren't "right".

Please drop me a note if you have a set for sale!

Mine say "Disc Brakes" but do not say "Chevrolet Motor Division"; they're the shallow cap but an unauthorized reproduction so they lack the branding, which gets me close. But I'd love an original set.
