Hub Cap Rechrome- Dog Dish

I found some dog dish, in pretty good shape, not many dents or issues but the chrome is very thin, any suggestions on a good place to get them rechromed? Some place good but not expensive. There is no one in NS that I know of.

Thanks,

Don

The beat driver set on my wife's 64 appear to originally have been chrome played and yet have no rust.

The old ones I have are a brass underneath, not sure what year they went to stainless. My 59 and 62 Chevy dog dish were the same. Full wheel covers were almost always stainless.

Nope. I have a poverty hub cap that is rusted right through (don't know the car type) ... makes a cool wall clock.

Early ones were also brass with chrome plating, I also have an old one that the chrome is peeling off of.

I'm guessing they switch to stainless dog dish was maybe 66 or 67. The chrome ones seem to have lots of "bumps" in the styling, the stainless are much smoother.

So any suggestions on a good cheap re-chrome place?

don't think Cheap and Good are the same regarding Chrome
