Couple of Chevs for Sale: 1957 Belair 4 door and 1968 427 Caprice

I fell in love with an old car (again) and couldn't resist so I cruised home in a pink 1960 Caddy flat-top 4 door (the dogs love hanging their heads out the rear windows) - so now I REALLY have to clear out some cars to make room.

Come have a look, bring cash and make an offer.  You might be surprised how flexible I am.  Just ask the guy that drove away my triple black SS427 4 speed convertible last week - he's super happy with the deal I gave him on that car!

On the block now are a couple of really decent cars:

1957 Belair 4 door Sedan $9,800 OBO-   Clean original unmolested 59,000 mile original car. Rebuilt 235 6 cyl, PG auto. New tires, new brakes, new exhaust. Canadian built. Factory original dusky rose metallic (Canadian-only colour), one repaint in 1970s to the original colour. Original tinted glass in very nice shape, electric wipers, windshield washers.  This is a generally solid, honest original car overall. Great driver.  The body is well above average condition. Has minor rust in dog legs, at bottom corners of front fenders and couple spots in trunk. Car needs interior work - carpets, seat covers and headliner. Clean open Alberta registration.

1968 Caprice 385hp 427 - $21,500 OBO - Factory Triple Black - Texas Garage Kept Purchased new at Hudiberg Chevrolet in Fort Worth Texas. Babied and loved its whole life and it shows: Incredible body - gaps and alignment are excellent. All the rare and expensive Caprice body side mouldings are excellent. Original interior is near mint. Original correct 385hp 427 has been completely rebuilt according to records with the car. Factory options include 427, TH400, 12 bolt, buckets and console, rally wheels, PW, AC, PS, PB, PWR trunk release, tinted glass, vigilite, bumper guards, tilt.

These cars are on Vancouver Island.  I can deliver them for my costs to points between BC and Regina. Also, I checked basic shipping cost through LHansen's (quoted June 8) from Vancouver to Montreal is: $1,123 and Vancouver to Toronto is: $998.

Shoot me a PM if serious - thanks and happy cruising!

That Caddy wasnt actually mine when it was at the swap meet - I just got it last Thursday.

Its mine now and what a hoot!  Wife and I jst love cruising around with all the windows down and the dog slobbering out the back windows.  That's my first older Caddy (had a 1963 Sedan deVille and a 1968 Eldorado) and Im surprised how well built that car is.  Is pretty much bone-stock unrestored and holy cow its impressive.

Thanks Randy - I couldn't agree more.  Its a really nice solid original genuine 427 Texas car with AC and a bunch of nice options - but time to move on and get some room in the garage.

Sorry to pry but some pictures of the 68 wagon in the background would be slick to look at.

I'm not the owner , but a local fellow did buy it  a few years ago . He would park the Black 68 427 Caprice beside his other Black 68 SS427. Both stunning cars .   He sold the Caprice last year to another fellow in Winnipeg , and is still seen at local car shows .
