Ya, weird stuff going on. I never paid too much attention to the interior. The exterior emblems are all screwy.

Seats are from a 1963 American Bonneville or Canadian Parisienne (ribbing has no wide spaces )                                                                         1964 Parisienne Custom Sport Convertible seat pattern

Looks to me that the seats are an upholstery shop restitch ....nothing wrong with that....just not original.

Is it my eyes...or monitor? the rocker trim looks weird...

I'm betting the whole dash has been changed. It has a a/c dash, the speedometer head has either cruise control or a speed warning (knob on left side of speed lens), those US only gauges.

I don't know my 64's at all, does the dash unbolt in them like it does in a 66?

I DID read the whole thread, if you mean the quote above.

My point was, did he change parts of the dash to upgrade to the US stuff, of did he unbolt the ENTIRE dash and change it as a unit.

The dash top with pad comes off.....then the chromed center section can be removed...with or without the painted lower section...

So the lower AC section was prolly transplanted from a US Pontiac

Hmm, ok. Someone did a fair bit of work to make it look like an a/c car, unless he actually did an a/c conversion. No underhood shots to see if he did, unfortunately.

Looks to be an A/C compressor and lines on the right front.

Looks to have an aftermarket compressor on the right side, wouldn't you say?

And I think there's the original A/C stuff on the right side firewall too? Someone has done a lot of work here...

That price is looking better all the time!

It's a Pep Boys aftermarket "period" conversion......the fan shroud has been bojangled and or changed out..,.

I'd really rather start with a car that hasn't been messed with.....

The seller must have got a lot of questions about the AC etc. and added this picture to their ad.
