I took my car to Excelteck in Markham last week and had a few things done.

I figured January would be a good time to get a few things done as the shop would not be as busy as the early spring. 

Here is my list.

Replaced the brake lines with Stainless Steel, replaced the rear wheel cylinders and new rear brake shoes and a new Chrome Master Cylinder . 

The flex lines for both front and rear were replaced with brake lines of the same quality as the stainless lines.

The frame was installed about 30 years ago with all new hardware.  I figured that it was time to upgrade the brake system.

The master cylinder had been honed due to rust in the cylinders about 3 years ago and I had planned on changing it earlier.  I just got tired of the old master being constantly rusted up..

Shocks were replaced with 4 Monroe Gasomatic and the front sway bar bushings were upgraded to urethane.

Ordered  a Classic Auto Air Conditioning system.    I was quite impressed with the detail of the package.   It is estimated 20-24 hours labour.... should arrive within 3 weeks.  This will be mated up to the new aluminum radiator that I ordered a couple of weeks ago.

Great way to spend my Termination benefit.
