1969 Parisienne

$5000

Not really, it's the amount a buddy thinks the car is worth. I am actually looking for thoughts on what I should ask for the car when I bring it into town and get it ready for sale.

I am looking on opinions on the reasonable value for the car.

1969 Pontiac Parisienne 2 door hard top, 350 250hp, TH350, 12 bolt rear, power steering & brakes. Original paint that looks good from afar but far from good with blemishes and some hail damage. Has rust in the bottom rear of both front fenders and right rear 1/4. The engine was removed cleaned and provided with a spray can rebuild. Added an aluminum intake, mild cam, headers and M/T valve covers. The interior was a mess and I have replaced the carpet and have yet to install the new headliner but will before sale. Seats just have inexpensive seat covers. Drive shaft has new u-joints and the rear axle has fresh axle seals and 80/90. The drum brakes were done by the previous owner. The car sits on the original spiral shocks and I suspect the the remaining suspension is as delivered 48 years ago. From the looks of the underneath I suspect the odometer has not flipped over and the car actually has about 76,000 miles. The radio works but the aerial is broken, so poor reception at best. Dash and steering wheel are cracked.

Any questions comments would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly I am betting that car will not bring over $3500. Other than on this site there aren't a whole lot of big Pontiac lovers it seems.

Sure doesn't look like a bad car, especially if it's decent underneath.

That in itself is impressive. Maybe someone will recognize it for what it is and pay a proper dollar for it.

I hope I'm wrong with my post saying $3500.

Thanks, My thoughts were in the $2500 to $3000 range. I'll get it into town and finish a few things on it and post it for $3500 and see what happens.
