1967 Impala SS original 396 4-Speed

Neat car, but needs a lot of work, frame comment notwithstanding.

The seller calls it Royal Plum, but it looks more like the Chrysler colour Plum Crazy/Inviolet in the pics. To my recollection Royal Plum is darker and has more of a burgundy hue to it, like the pic below.

All that said, the hood pins and '68 Mopar side marker lights would require body and paint work to remove, plus a bunch of other little things (or maybe big things, once you looked underneath). Underhood wiring looks a little funny to me as well.

A cool car, but could end up being a money pit (who am I fooling, they all are... lol). But then it is a big block 4-speed!

The car it's self would be a lot of fun to drive.

I thought the frame availability meant that it needed a frame swap?

The colour thing is of interest to me - probably nobody else cares. Also keep in mind I like green cars which most people hate, if that qualifies my comments...

I agree that it would be fun to drive, but some of those small things would drive me crazy - I'm funny like that! biggrin
