Lovely looking car, well kept and optioned.

It has been up for a while, quite surprised it hasn't sold.

Not sure why.

Sure seems like a good buy, again speaks to the desirability level of these 73-77 A bodies ....Not Desirable.

In 1977 GM switched all engines to GM Corporate Blue so that engine is correct in terms of the blue colour. You could find a few early 1977 builds with Chevy Orange engines as the supply was used up.

I`ve never seen that air cleaner decal before...nice touch, must be  something that has been made up in the aftermarket, looks good though. The 350 4bbl was the top choice of engines in coupes and sedans 1977, the 400 4bbl Pontiac was available in Safari and the 305 was the other optional engine in coupes and sedans. The venerable 250 straight six was the standard offering in coupes and sedans.

This would be a very reasonable way to get into the old car hobby.

I've heard it said, re-sale red, hang around brown. That might be the problem. Not that I don't like some browns but it is a pretty plain looking car.

Almost a dead wringer for my Dad's 77. Same interior too. His had the 350/4bbl. Would be neat to have (and swap in something a little more powerful)

Todd, I'm assuming the body side moulding on your dad's car is an aftermarket moulding? I don't remember GM having one that wide. Or...?

Yes, the car had a been repainted when that photo was taken. That would be around 1987.
