60 Laurentian 4dr on kijiji toronto

looks quite nice but I suspect he'll be hard pressed to find a taker at that price.

I'm with you, beautiful car but not in the price range a lot of people will pay for 4 doors. (With apologies to 4 door lovers....) They are just a hard sell.

Reality is setting in.
Price drop from $16,500 to $11,900. Wonder how much lower he'll have to go before finding a buyer?

For that kind of money, it hardly pays for a good paint job. Our hobby really is in trouble when nothing seems to be worth anything. Never mind four doors, i have noticed that two doors are not getting real money either. It makes no sense to build a car anymore the way you want it. No money in it and it only makes sense to buy a car that is done, regardless of doors. I am very sad to say.

That's because all those older folks like us who love old cars are dying off. Here's a perfect example of a "young whippersnapper's" viewpoint about older (in this case 1977) cars.

The car has some great technology. I can't figure out if he's praising it or mocking it.

Just like all the nonsense we are seeing in the news these days, you can't take 2017 standards and apply them retroactively to 40 years ago. You can't rewrite history. He does like the car in a strange way though.
