It does look nice. Wasn't there a couple on here awhile ago restoring a similar car or was it a 68?

Hmmm... yes, there was one, I'm thinking it was a '68 and they were from NS.  I haven't seen the car around but then I didn't make it to many shows this summer.

No engine badges - would it be a six?

Probably a 6. I think the folks restoring the wagon were in NFLD.

It looks like something a fire department or utility company would have bought new.

15" steel wheels that are wider, complete with redlines and the existing poverty caps.
I'm surprised if nobody has snapped this up yet?

He has added more to the write up and bumped the price to $8000. Still reasonable if it is as good as it looks.
6cyl 3sp could very easily become v8 4sp. If I only had the money I could make the time.......

I really am amazed it's still for sale. This looks like a great opportunity to get into the hobby with quite a unique car. Has nobody from here gone to look at it? Maybe it's not as good looking in person? It sure sounds like the seller is not over rating it.

Hmmm. Not selling, so he increases the price?

Personally, I think this is one car that should be left as original as possible.  Canadian GM Beaumont, 3-on-the-tree, strait six, as many were ordered back in the day.  A great example of GM Canada's history.

I don't see a price increase, as it says $7500 at the top of the page, and add states you won't find another one under $8000 below.

If this were doable for me, it would be in a truck on the way to the east coast as we speak.  Heck, maybe I need to visit the bank... biggrin

1969 Beaumont Wagon Super RARE

$7,500.00

1969 Beaumont Wagon  3 on the tree approximately 97,000 original motor bought from the original owner out of Vernon BC The car was painted in 1980 and was a daily driver until 4 years ago. The engine is an inline 6 with a three on the tree standard. Not a disc brake car or power options car. This car was built in Canada and still reflects that on the tag, only 80000 were built, maybe 500 survived to this day. There is some small rust and bondo on the car it has had some work done over the years but remains all original. You WILL and CAN drive off into the sunset with one of the few Beaumont Wagons built that did not get scrapped. You could be the owner of a survivor that is rarely seen in this good of condition. I have looked around and when these cars are finished properly, they are absolutely gorgeous. this beauty has the bones to be another gorgeous survivor for many more years to come! This car is a real sleeper and just waiting for a car professional to do her up right! No trades and no low ballers. If you can find another one that is under $8000 and this original...GOOD LUCK! Thanks for looking motorheads!
