Well it's pretty cool and optioned up car.
It's got power steering, tilt steering, power disc brakes, power windows, power seat, buckets console, remote mirror, 8track (missing), rear window defroster, two tone paint and a special engine option.

It will be restored/restified.

Did I mention it has a special engine option? It has a TH400.

Finding that car is like finding a business card in a haystack. L36, I don't think finding a replacement L36 engine would affect value too much as it is a documented L36 car by virtue of the trim tag. Besides GM VVS documentation is always available.

The 5510 paint strikes me as being Crystal Turquoise with a black painted roof. I have never seen or heard of such a combination. That must be super obscure. Now to find a correct 8-track player so you can play a vintage "Hair" cartridge. Does it still have the kick panel & rear deck speakers?

Did 69 have the kick panel speakers? It's almost 35 years since I had my 69 427 Grande Parisienne with the tape player but I thought it had two dash speakers and only one rear speaker. Long time ago though I may be forgetting

Nice find. The 427's are coming out of the woodwork- or other hiding spots. 427 B Bidy.... my favourite! Looking forward to more pics and details. Is the painted black top smooth, or is it a bit rough in texture?

Maybe I missed it int this thread but is the engine long gone? If so, any hope of finding it?

Congrats!  Nice score!

It's great that another one will be saved that had been left for dead.

I think that colour combo will be gorgeous when done.

Looking forward to updates!

First order of business is to get the car to be a roller so I need to free a rear wheel and get some tires for my 15x7 rallys I have stashed away. I am a big fan of the day two look so I'm looking towards stock colours, 15 Cragar SS wheels or possibly staying with the rallys. Love the sound of headers so the exhaust manifolds will get a rest in the attic and I will run it with an aluminum intake. I'm really hoping that the engine isn't screwed but that may take a month or so before I find out.

Before I get too carried away I need to get the car cleaned out and up on stands to assess what is fully need. Then an action plan.

Eric, was that car anywhere near Regina? I feel like I know about every 2+2 in Saskatchewan, but that one is news to me!

It's absolutely worth restoring in its own right (particularly if it still has the original L36), but it'd sure make a dandy parts car for my L36/M20/Convertible project, so if it becomes overwhelming, let me know!

I brought the  2+2 down from Melfort. I'll be contacting the previous owners to get a little more history on the car in the near future and also VSS as I'm really curious on how many options this car truly has.

This one is easy compared to building my 35 coupe and 69 Camaro.

I'll see if I can get some numbers off the engine block tonight to verify numbers matching or not.

That car will be stunning in that colour combo. My vote- stick with rally's. That black top looks like it might be rough surface? I ask because I have a car with a roughish texture black top and D99. Your Car looks solid. Did underside also hold up well? Re engine- I have tossed around the same thoughts about going with aluminum intake and headers. The good thing about that is more driving fun and I guess it could always be put back to stock if desired. Did you mention the rear end? Posi and gears ratio? The options on the car are a bonus! Keeper car for sure.

John, the top is smooth, no texture. In the pic it's just a pile crap and dirt that obscures the finish.

The frame actually is really nice and the pans appear decent from below. The litmus will be when I pull the carpets.
