Location of ( SPORT DELUXE) ON REAR FENDER 66 BEAUMONT SD

I was looking for some help on the location to place the Sport Deluxe on the rear fenders of my 66 Beaumont SD

New fenders front and back were put on the car prior to buying it.

Now I have to locate the position to place the (Sport Deluxe) on the rear fenders and the (Beaumont and V8 ) on the front.

I have the chrome but have to drill holes in fenders.

Would there be a template around or can someody give me measurements?

Any help would be great

Thanks

Bert

Thanks guys
Looks like that will help with the rear fenders(SPORT DELUXE).
Any ideas where to look for templates for the (BEAUMONT) and (V8) on the front fenders?
Thanks
Bert

I'm interested in the location of the V8 emblems too. My SD was a 6 cyl so it didn't have the V8 emblems from new.

Does any body have an old front fender hanging around to possibly get a template for v8 and Beaumont emblem location?

Hi very important to get them absolutely correct and original , i have looked at 66 sport deluxe big blocks in the past with the emblems not even close to where they should be on the front fenders and rear quarters with the owner asking big dollars ( 40,000-50-000) turned me completely off the deal , good luck not easy to do without the original factory holes drilled

My fenders are in storage but I can see if I can get there this weekend to template them.

Thanks That would be a huge help if you don't mind.
Hope it doesn't put you out too much if you happen to get it done.
Thanks
Bert

That will help a ton!

Having the upper emblems in place, assuming they are correct which your measurements will confirm, it will be easy to get the V8 emblems correctly installed.

Thanks for taking the time to make the measurements and posting them for us!

I wish everyone who added V8 emblems would have had those specs. Over the years on CP, we've seen some pretty wild placements of 1/4 emblems as well as the front fender emblems!

As you can tell the shop never removed them for paint 30+ years ago.

I added a tag line to the topic so when you look in the Beaumont body tech forum it will be easy to find the thread.

For what it's worth... here is a side view of my 1966 SD 396 (still wearing its original factory paint) for your reference2265.JPG.
