Do 1969 Front Fenders interchange with anything?

I had a body man out to look over my 2+2 today, and the front fenders are pretty rotted out behind the wheels.  The fender itself there is pretty simple, but the structure and bracing under it is not, so if I have another set of rust-free fenders, I'd use them.

I'm under the impression though that the US and Canada front fenders are completely different.  Does anyone know?

I'm hoping our man John in Montreal can chime in as he has both US & Cdn 69's. For 1970 the US & Cdn fenders are different, and John indicated there's a difference in the measurement from the wheel opening to the back of the fender.

Fortunately for my 70 Parisienne, I had a spare set of fenders that donated the vertical support structure to the original fenders. The donor supports still needed some work, but they were in way better shape than the originals.

They are completely different Im afraid. The wheel opening is shifted 1 closer to the cowl on the Canadian fender. The top rear of the fender near the windshield has a very different shape, kicking up much higher (hoods are very different there too) and lastly the inner structure is totally different to mate to the Chevy radsupport, cowl and inner fenders.

I might have some good pictures of the back corners of my fenders when they were being painted. They needed a patch on the outer skin but the bottom lip and the bracing was fine.

It's hard to imagine why GM went through all the trouble of re-tooling the Pontiac bodies to mate with Chevy chassis. Seems like it would have been easier just to build "regular" Pontiac's here in Canada.

Just an FYI.  Here's a photo of the fenders from my 70 Parisienne.  The entire bottom rear of both needed new metal to be fabricated, and they used the vertical support from my spare fenders.   Also, the passenger fender was rusted right at the top of the wheel opening, so again they had to splice in a section from my donor fender.   appx $2000, but it was a work of art.
