if you are staying with a carb i would have stayed with the throttle rod assembly . I have a Lokar I had to change the peddle linkage to get the right position and throw, drill a hole in the fire wall and make a bracket fpr the throttle body end.

Talking to Lokar tech people, and they tell me that you have to drill firewall to mount the pedal.
Currently, have the Bowler Trans linkage and this has the bracket for the throttle cable.
I have seen some other brands for this but was looking for input from anyone who has tried this.
