My first 66, the black 427 car was originally those colours and that has to be one of the sharpest combinations available.

No, this one was a 283 glide when I got it. I put a 427, TH400, 12 bolt and pretty much every power option into it plus air, tilt, AM/FM, reverb, reclining passenger seat, tach and rally gauge cluster. Sold it, the buyer resold it locally here and then it vanished. Can't find it although it's last known location was only about 40 miles from here.

Beautiful car but the first thing i would do is remove the Canadian Tire mud flaps and the Canadian Tire rear antenna's.

Mark, did you just get that, or did you get some history on the car as far as restoration etc?

Too bad no good interior shots of it.

That is a pretty car... 

I've said this before, but is it just me or does there seem to be more '66 Grande Parisiennes left than any of the other years?  Seems to me that I rarely see '67, '68, or '69s - there are a few on this site - but there seems to be many more '66s.

Not that it's a bad thing, they are beautiful cars, but just wondering why.  Were sales numbers much greater?
