Hi all, looking for a place to buy the tacking material for the tack rails. Needs to be 14mm or 5/8 wide.

simply called convertible tack strip. Should be available from any shop that installs convertible tops. Please note that the front header bar uses a different thickness than the rear tack bow. Google  hydroe-lectric.com   and most convertible info will be available. Great people to deal with

there must be someone in Australia that sells / installs convertible tops ?  or anyone who sells muscle car parts should have or can source ?

There are 2 types of tack strip. The originals were all layered, glued cardboard. The more modern are a soft plastic. Some width/thickness combinations are only available in one of the types.
Restoration Specialties in Windber, PA is a good source. ( Also Hydro Electric that Dale mentionned. )
