Rally wheels for 1967 Parisienne

I have decided to take the 14 inch wheels and white wall radial tires off my gold 1967 coupe and put them on the black 1966 car for the time being.  Im thinking of putting the Chevy or Corvette rally wheels on the gold car just for cruising around.  I have a question about proper size and backspacing. If I were to go with 15 x 7 on the front and 15 x 8 on the rear, with 235/60 tires on front and 245/60 On the rear, Im pretty sure that would fit pretty nicely. But what backspacing what I need to make sure to have? I know that I will need the four and three-quarter boat pattern and the front wheels would probably have a 4 inch backspacing and the rear wheels would probably have either a 4 inch backspacing or a 4 1/2 inch backspacing?  Im just wondering if anyone has any experience with how various tire sizes or backspacing has on the look of this kind of car. Im trying to be economical and use what I have on hand or cheaply available. The 66 needs tires right away and Im not ready to pull the trigger on anything else. I know of a set of used wheels and (the rally wheels and BFG radial TA) tires that might spare me the task of refinishing the FW code 15x7 rally wheels I have in hand. Just concerned about backspacing and any comments or suggestions. 14 wheels coming off this car and rallys going on?

Not sure how much difference is in the wheel well space from a 67 to my 69 2+2 but I installed 275/60/15 on 15x8 rallys on the rear and 255/60/15 on 15x7 rallys on the front. The rally wheels I used are original factory stock that I found at swap meet a few years ago.

With regards to your choice of tire size I would run the 245's on 7" wide rims with no concerns and skip the extra that you would have to pay for 8" wide rims.

I've had that same combo (275-60-15 and 255-60-15) without problem on a 69 with rally wheels, fit just fine, but that's a couple of years different!
