My father in law phoned me the other day. His 55 Meteor was crapping out a couple miles from his house and ended up dying in his driveway. Went and checked fuel pump...no pressure. Pump is only a couple of years old with maybe 500 miles on it. Took it off and pulled it apart at home. Ever seen this? Check valve popped right out! Spread it a bit and pressed back in with a right size socket.
