Hello their! I am looking to sell a 1966 Pontiac Beaumont Convertible. Has a period correct built 1966 283 V8 with all the goodies installed. Have build sheet of engine with details. Also have the original straight 6 engine that came in the car on a engine stand. Very strong engine. Sounds immaculate. Built automatic transmission that shifts flawless. Complete dual exhaust system with Flo Pro mufflers. Car was completely stripped and chassis sandblasted and painted by previous owner. Was painted red at the same time of the sandblasting. Comes with all the paperwork from GM when purchased. Car is very solid for the year. It does need a transmission line but this will be fixed if you are a serious buyer. Rocker panels are showing some rust due to the sandblasters not correctly removing access sand from them. Have rocker panels to fix them. All in all this car would make an awesome ride for someone with very little work. Reason for selling is not enough time to enjoy. Located in St.Stephen, New Bruswick, Canada. Please feel free to email me with further questions. $20,000 obo. Very motivated to sell.Thank you.

Interesting car.  Shows nice but I'm questioning the manual-looking shifter with an auto trans - makes me wonder why they wouldn't have just kept the column shifter, unless they were planning to eventually switch the trans to manual.

The rocker panel situation sucks - I assume it's coming through from the inside based on his description.  This means bodywork and paint - might be able to get away with just painting the rockers, if the paint can be blended well enough, but could just as easily open another can of worms.

$20K seems a little high given the issues, but then it's not like we are tripping over '66 Beaumont convertibles these days - supply and demand will work it out I'm sure.

Nice looking car nonetheless.  There are a few things I'd do differently with it, but that's just a matter of preference.
