Certainly a rare one. The car is a model 73167, a base 1965 Beaumont 6-cylinder convertible, maybe the 4th one I can remember seeing from the last 50 years.

It looks like they tried to replicate the Sport Deluxe pattern on the bench seat, but that is a style that never was.

The price seems crazy, but if you tried to redo a rotten one from the ground up it would cost you more. There aren't a lot of auction results on a stripped Chevelle or Beaumont convertible, but there has been a stock '65 Chevelle 300 convertible change hands a few times in the last few years with a price between $16,900 to $20,000 USD.
