1971 Bonneville $750 on kijiji AB

Looks like it was a nice complete original car before they yanked the drivetrain.  Might still be worth the effort to install a new one if somebody had a hankering for a cheap early seventies land yacht.  On a side note I'm curious about what that steering wheel is out of - a Meteor (by the star in the hub)?

1971 Pontiac Bonneville Straight Clean Project Car

$750.00

Description

Original Calgary car with previous Alberta registration, low low mileage 69,000!. Very minor rust spots on body, original paint, no accidents except the drivers corner fender filler. Interior nice and only needs a good cleaning but in excellent condition, no mice stink and immaculate headliner. Car has factory a/c, tilt, cruise and power windows. Powertrain was 455 4 bbl 400 turbo transmission but they were yanked out and kept by previous owner. I had plans of keeping it just the way it is and putting in a Chevy 350/700R4 transmission combo, if it doesnt sell still will. Please don't email or call saying it would be perfect in a demo derby, I will definately keep it then! You can call or text me at 780-991-4675 or email, thks.

That's a 63 Pontiac wheel, surprised it works on there. Wonder if the horn works?

Good eye!  I should have realized that the star was a styling element for Pontiacs as well (Laurentian).

It's an odd choice but I'm assuming they wanted the Bonneville wheel for something and they happened to have this one laying around...

I hate it when guys buy cars with big engines and then strip the car to harvest the engine.

LOL, I have NO idea...

We know 65wagon doesn't. He came all the way here from Alberta to keep me from doing it to the black 455 Parisienne!
