Ryan Here is a picture of the door I took apart yesterday. The skinny foam goes against the mechanism behind the paper shield. I have added a before picture also with the shield on, hope this helps.
B body door release is mounted from inside the door though, so the foam seal may be inside too although the window winder would have to go outside and probably the vent winder with the large opening on the back.
Looking at all of them, it makes the most sense they'd all go on the outside under the watershield so that's what I'll do.

Should I check my 66? It's a pretty safe bet it hasn't been apart. I would assume it would be assembled the same as 65.
