Canadian Matchbooks on eBay

I stubbled across these.

Someone may be interested.

Not mine, no affiliation.

I have the 69 Pontiac one. Fun fact: My dad printed those. He was head pressman at Strike Rite Matches in London. He was a car nut like me and made sure he printed any matchbooks with auto advertising.

Todd, that is amazing. Do you have any of the auto related matches your dad made. The only car dealer matches i ever had was for the 1957 Chevrolet. I had three copies of the same one and i sold two of them for some good coin and gave one as a gift to a good buddy of mine that has two 57 Chevy's.

I have a couple copies of the 1970 matchbook. One has the original matches in it, and I think I put matches in the 2nd set. They're in the ashtrays of my two 2+2's. If I recall, one of mine is from a dealer in Quebec, the other from GM Oshawa.

George: Sadly I don't have any other than the 69 Pontiac one. My dad had a photo album where he'd place some of the more unique ones he printed. My sister might have it. I know she has a few of the Air Force 1 matches he produced. They had a gold foil on them.
