Thanks Ted, I like them so I sent a message to seller. The 61 looks like an upgrade to what I have.

I was thinking $10 to $15 to mail from Edmonton to Toronto. The reply was very quick as well.

 Agree I was thinking it was a mailing to  Toronto thing.

A padded envelope, two cardboard sleeves is stressful enough on its own. But a trip around the corner to Canada Post can really test a mans patience.

Thank you all for looking into it and saving me the aggravation. I was considering contacting the seller but I would much rather try my hand locally.

There was a place I had used in Edmonton (The Chevy Doctor?) that had a bunch of 1960's NOS Chevrolet brochures for sale back in the 1980s. Their prices were reasonable and shipping charges were a non-issue.

What is with people? Don't they realize that scanned images of those can be found on-line now? I hate to say what I paid for some absolutely mint mid-60's Pontiac performance models brochures from Carl Terpstra in the late 1980s.

To play Devils Advocate Ray, the seller might have thought your offer was a scam.

Kijiji policy was to meet in person and pay in cash.

Now they still recommend meeting in person but have alternatives to cash.
