Your turn signal switch is broken. The cancelling arms are broken off of one end. Your turn signal wont cancel when turning right. Is it the turn signal switch you are looking for, or the cam that also is the horn contact?
Yes the top prong is broken that's why I need a new one,the one from Chevelle is different if you look closely at my pic you can see it actually has two slots where the turn signal sits in?
Ya, i would highly recomend doing a complete change over to the Delco switch, and get rid of the piece of crap Boyne one.
If you are into seaching the internet, there was a very VERY good article on how to do it and it is easy, it was on a Canadian corvair website called Corvair Kid or something like that
I did the complete change over on my 67 beaumont daily driver after breaking neumerous boyne ones and having constant problems finding correct replacement C shaped cams and having them not cancel properly.
the delco ones are easy to use, parts are readily avail, and the same delco switch was used extensively on 67-72 chevy trucks, and they are everywhere for parts

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
Thanks, I can't believe how many different types of switches there are. I found the corvair kid site and it looks like I have the Boyne type, signal lights don't work now either so I don't know if I shorted something out will check the fuse box. I think I will attempt the swap since I still have months before I can drive it again.
If you've got a service manual it should outline how to change the signal switch. I've changed a few in my 1970 cars (and removed a few from cars in the junk-yards), it's pretty easy. Just be patient.
Thanks for the help, I have a 1968 service manual but it doesn't seem as complete as the pictures you guys posted, just waiting for parts from the states now and will give it a try.
