Love it, what a rare car...

It seems to me we've seen that car, and seems to me it belongs to a member here.

As the saying goes, you likely can't build it for that!

A $5,000 project car with "some" rust ends up costing that much if you don't do everything yourself. And then it's still a rusty, repaired car.

It was posted....in the late fall.....for about a week...

Very cool car....

Original paint and interior....is the best...

The colors are a bit "conservative"........Make mine in Honduras Maroon....or Black...

Personally....I would have added another gear.......with a chrome Hurst hook.......before the red lines...and 2 1/2 " exhaust.

Might be a tough sell......

The guy that has 30k to spend on a 61 Canadian Pontiac...is going to want a shiny one....JMO

I know the guy that is selling this car.   He lives 10 minutes from my house.

He has been a car guy all his life.  He has fixed up and sold many cars in his day.

A really nice guy, likes to deal in higher end cars.

Frank

I believe he means the block cast date....is late 61.....which would mean from an early production 62 car

I spy with my little eye....EXHAUST DUMPS !! Love the car, If this vehicle is as sound mechanically and aesthetically as written , your only beef might be the dull paint...but its original guys.

PS: a 61 348 triple carb was rated at 280 HP, this 327 has 300 HP and did I mention Exhaust Dumps!!

I have seen this car. It is a good car for sure, IMO over priced.

I'm digging it too, except for the price.

IMHO, this car is too nice and original to cut up - keep the 3 spd on the column.

If the paint won't buff up, though, original or not it's time for paint.... again IMHO.
