1966 Pontiac Bonneville Hurst Station Wagon

https://barnfinds.com/hurst-hauler-1966-pontiac-bonneville-station-wagon/

This car has shown up a couple of times on Barn Finds - this information was posted in 2017

This car has A/C among other options - there is an interesting interior shot that shows one of the vents mounted on top centre of the dashpad - I wonder if that was done on US station wagon models to improve air movement

Apologies in advance if information on this car has already been posted on this site - I searched  a couple of ways ( 1966 Pontiac Hurst, etc ) and nothing showed up

What a car this would be restored! You'd need deep pockets though.

I recall seeing it on ebay way back when, and yes, I love it, what a cool car. And if you read the comments in the link, they talk about the 65 Hurst GTO giveaway car being in the collection in Warroad Minnesota. I never knew that he has that GTO there. My goal is to get to that museum some day soon, it's only a couple of hours away and I hear it's an amazing collection.

Don, the centre vent on top of the dash is standard on all factory air 66 full size Pontiacs. Pretty cool, when you meet a factory air 66 Pontiac on the highway you can tell it's an a/c car!

It's cool, it's beautiful, it's got pedigree AND it still has Hurst Wheels!

Overpriced for condition? Saw it was on ebay for $12,750 in 2017? Neat wagon for sure, if it had a 427/421 it would be worth that much more.

Agreed, big engine price for a non big engine car, probably had the snot driven out of it too being passed around among all the Hurst hot shoes.
