Hello all, another new guy to the forum with a question. Just bought a 63 parisienne 2dr hrdtp 283 4bbl 2spd Aqua/aqua buckets and console w/posi off the man who bought it new in 1963 in Kelowna B.C. Don't even have it home yet but thought I better sign up! Anyhow this car seems as though it must be a custom sport but has no emblems to that effect. Anyone know if 63's had emblems or even a custom sport designation??
By the way, that '63 Parisienne of your sounds like a super find! This day in age it is so unusual to be lucky enough to purchase a '63 from the original owner. Tell us more!

A big welcome from Wasaga Beach, ON Your purchase sounds like a real gem. To find out things like date of manufacture, selling dealer, original options etc you'll want to get the GMVVS package.
Woooops, almost forgot....we love pictures

Thanks guys for the welcome..I've been a car guy forever.Owned a couple of pontiacs..72 and 79..a59 biscayne 2dr post 235 3 on the tree..1960 apache short fleet 235 truck 4spd, 64 c10 short step small block truck 4spd posi...the list goes on. Recently I'Ve been looking at B bodies mostly cause I can't afford to even glance elsewhere!lol..Anyhow After looking for a few mos mostly stateside..I found this car right on my doorstep! Well almost..I am in B.C..I took 2 days off work last week and drove my 1990 Gmc Tracker over the Coq to grab it! The man I bought it from has had it garage kept since new!! It's just a beauty. He recently had a stroke and lost his wife of 54 years. He told me that he wanted buckets because he is tall and his wife was tiny..She drove. The glass chrome and interior are near flawless. No cracks in the dash..headliner mint. Paint not so much.Lower quarters painted but not for rust.Very clean original paint otherwise. ..Now get this...New carb( original comes with),starter, alt, fuel pump, regulator, belts, rad, radhoses, heater hoses, brake shoes, whl cyls, frt rubber brake lines, and brand new dual exhaust from the manifolds back!!! Am I excited like a little kid? You betcha.I have to go get it still...Some pare parts..owners manual in the glovey.. The price you ask? Well suffice to say under 15 canadian. I will post pics as soon as I can.It needs a good detailing and bulb socket cleanup type stuff. I think it could be a bit of a rare one...TBD...
Ted, the original owner, told me he bought the car new in 1963 from Carter Gm in Kelowna. I googled that name but came up blank.I think the car dealers were on Pandosy in those days for anyone familiar. Also he has a black and white dated 1964 photo of himself leaning on the car when it was new! Said I could have a copy. Here's a link to a 64 bonneville I was looking at...www.motorcarstudio.com/vehicles/735/1964-pontiac-bonneville
norontcan I hear you..I'm tickled to find a canadian car..I have read that the american Catalina was the equivalent in 63 but it seems those bonnevilles had the same outer trim as the parisienne in that year even though I understand they were somewhat larger. This car I've bought has little hooks on the side of the buckets to hang the seat belts on...is that stock?
I have the aqua CS (buckets/console) interior in my '64 Parisienne in near mint condition also ... you'll love the colour!

Hello Otus, I have viewed your pictures against the Colour chart I have for 63 Pontiacs and it could be one of three colours as follows: (1) Monaco Blue Metallic code BB, (2) Marine Aqua Metallic code PP or (3) Diplomat Blue Metallic code WW and that's the one I think it is as it's darker.....any questions let me know...regards Terry M ( ps my neighbour across the street bought a dark brown 1963 Laurentian with a 327 brand new as well)
