In my books it fits whatever you want it to fit. Always hard to get $400 for a $100 part, especially on Kijiji.

actually my opinion is that he's low on this one;
that aircleaner is specific to the following applications:
- 1970 Formula 400 (base engine) w/California equipment
- 1971 & 1972 Firebird Formula 400's
- 1971 Formula 455's (with the D-port 455; non-HO).

The A-body (Lemans/GTO) aircleaner doesn't have the same drop base, and even thougn it's MUCH more common, it's easy worth $200usd in really nice shape.

it does show it as sold, but it's almost sneaky in it:

...and this only seems to prove my earlier point.

All variations of the 70-72 Formula aircleaner are expensive, and very specific parts;
The ones which are the most common, because they were shared with correctly opted GTO's are the RA aircleaners - and those rose to prices where they started being reproduced... which eventually led to all 70-72 aircleaners being reproduced.
