So I get to Hope, top up the fuel ..94 chevron.. at which point I meet a guy at the pumps with what he says is a one of 451 67 beaumont 396 car!! Black Cherry paint w black guts!! OMG what a beautiful ride. I went over there like a flea on a dog! I can tell he's bored with looky loos but who cares...He told me it was a gold on gold on gold on gold big block car...he bought it, correctly color changed it, and by that i mean color coded the firewall, and installed a black on black int....He lives in Hope B.C....(don't I??lol) and said July 1rst is the big show there. My god that car was perfect...well...got me goin so to speak .Anyhow, just outa Hope the shakes began..steady bearing... O O I pulled off where Highway thru Hell has their yard ( lot's of tow trucks there) and had experimented with the throttle a bit forward a back...settled that bearing back in and cruised on home. A bit of a nail biter though!!
Was cruising through Hope a couple of years back when we were heading up to our property. Saw a black 67 sd parked in a carport(2nd street back from the main highway). Took a pic of it sitting there. Pic is on my old work phone from last employer.
